The Reform and Consummation of the Rules of Recognizing Evidence in Civil Procedure
Abstract: There has been short of systemic and detailed rules of recognizing evidence for a long time in the civil procedure of our country, which both reduces the quality of civil trial and is prone to cause judicial corruption. The Fifth Chapter of Some Provisions on Civil Evidence passed by the Supreme People’s Court in 2001 is a positive attempt to establish the rules of recognizing civil evidence which is used inside the court system, and to a certain extent meets the needs of the practical judicial work. But there are still some problems in this chapter, which should be refined in the future.
